This year was our first year at our new home! It was also year #1 using LOR. Using 32 channels, we controlled a 2 color 20' mega tree with a 3rd color 10' mini tree inside. I built a couple of ocotillo's to go with our southern New Mexico style home. Again i had a ferris wheel and our most successful addition was a Virtual Santa. Taking advantage of a brief article in the paper, i enjoyed over 200 cars 2 days before Christmas and 50 cars every other night.
I continue to design and prepare for next year, taking advantage of light sales and buying up extension cords. I'm in the early phase, but next year we will have 26 shooting stars coming from behind my property and 10 firesticks with 8 channels on each stick.
Here are just a couple of the ferris wheels that i have built, either for myself or for others. They range anywhere from 5' to 12' in diameter, and i build it from PVC which is lightweight and easy to work with and re-assemble. If you're interested, please email me with the size you have in mind and i'll get back to you with an estimate right away. Options can include a full functioning ferris wheel or just the frame work where you add lights and motors. It's all up to you! Plans are also available via email for $40.
